1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
My new song “Long Way” ft. Will Ryte is my first release of the year. I’ve only been recording music for a year and a half now, and already feel like I’ve learned and overcame so much. This is where the title of my new song comes from; all the growth and obstacles I’ve overcome in the last year and a half – coming a “Long Way”.
2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
What makes my music unique is that it is relatable. My mindset translated into my music I feel like motivates listeners to be relentless in everything they do.
3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
My music career has just started and so far this release is my most proud moment. As an artist only being a year and a half in, I’m just getting my feet wet. During this release, I got a chance to work with another super talented artist, “Will Ryte”, which I’m super happy about, and the fact that so many more people tuned in this time was a huge accomplishment for me.
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends, or work?
I balance my time as far as family, friends, and work as best I can so that I can work on my music without feeling like I’m neglecting other important aspects of my life. These days it’s just my mom and I and luckily I have a lot of supportive friends standing behind me. As far as my job goes, it is necessary to be able to invest in myself.
5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
The advice I’d give to aspiring musicians is to never quit on yourself. But more specifically, my largest piece of advice is to make connections and network with other artists, producers, bloggers, etc.
6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
One message that I need my fans to know is that without them I wouldn’t be as happy as I am today. It brings me joy to know that someone is genuinely enjoying my music and sometimes I can’t even think of a better feeling to experience. I just want them to know that they mean everything to me.
7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I got a few upcoming singles ready to go that are dropping in the near future. My next single is dropping Friday, March 19th and I’m very excited as it should be my best work yet.
