Interviews

Our interview with 2ach for his upcoming EP ‘too many tears’

1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
My upcoming EP ‘too many tears’ is a collation of songs that I’ve made in the last few months and it’s really a song for anyone who has been through a relationship with a friend/partner and understand the feelings and emotions that you go through. I wanted to make a project that people could relate to and feel however they wanted to feel whilst listening. The story is really open for people to interpret which is one of the reasons I love making music like I do.

2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

I think what makes my music unique is the fact that it couldn’t be defined by a single genre, I like to sometimes make a song you can bounce to, feel sad to, feel happy to and thats important to me. What I make music about is relatable to so many and I think the best way to describe that would be authenticity. I couldn’t really name an artist I sound like. I would describe it as music for feelings, and that’s because it can ignite all sorts of feelings, in my opinion.

3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

This EP ‘too many tears’, is by far the proudest I’ve ever been of my music. I can’t wait for people to hear it. I’ve put a lot of work and time into this music and it’s something I’ve wanted to share for a long time. This is definitely the peak of my music career so far.
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
I’ve got a home studio which is fortunate, so I spend most of my spare time in there and my family/friends know that I’ve got a real love for it so never question it. Sometimes I mix the two but the balance is made to work because of how much I want to make music. People can come and listen if they want to but either way I’m happy making music. Like anything you love you make time for it.

5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Authenticity. Make music that you want to and not what you think people will like, that’s where you find a true love for the music you make. Don’t be afraid to sound a little different or make something unique. A lot of the best became the best by doing that.

6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
Get on board as soon as possible, I’ve got so much exciting stuff on the way and I’m currently making some of the best music of my life. If you listen to my EP you will see that and I think fans should know that there’s so much more to come.

7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

I’m just about to release ‘too many tears’ which is my first ever EP. Then it will be back to working hard and making my next single. I’m really enjoying the whole process so whatever comes next will be great. I want to enjoy the music in this EP and I’m always in the studio so hopefully the next project is only round the corner.
