1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
My new song is all about trust issues and betrayal. After years of people not taking me seriously and making fun of what I do, I decided that I can’t let other people control my life because I would be no better than them. Finding a genuine person in today’s age is almost impossible, everyone is just so fake. Being there physically is one thing, but being all in mentally is a whole different thing. It’s hard to put yourself out there, but once you do happiness will follow. Nowadays you need to keep your circle tight, you can’t be trusting just anyone, because they can be quick to turn and blindside you. In other words, this song is just about me telling my story.
2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
I find too many people are trying to be like “The Kid LAROI” or “Juice Wrld”, and they get caught up in a sound that has already been done and perfected (I have to admit I was like this before). With my music, I’m slowly levitating to a new style that I believe will be the future of music. I would describe my music as a mix of The Kid LAROI, Iann Dior, Lil Uzi Vert, and 21 Savage.
3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
My biggest accomplishment as an artist so far would be the moment when “Lrkin” hit 1,000 streams, I never thought that would happen so fast, it’s really crazy.
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations — family, friends or work?
Not overworking yourself is key, I found myself being in the studio for 9–7 hours a day sometimes, that type of consistency can just burn you out. You always gotta have time for your family and friends (especially during quarantine), spending a couple hours a day talking or being with them will put you in a better mindset.
5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
As far as advice goes I would just say don’t listen to any haters, that will get you nowhere. Also, don’t procrastinate, you’re going to release bad music, it’s all about how you learn and build off that.
6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
I love all my supporters! I would be absolutely lost without you guys. I made a promise that however far I go I will never forget any of my day ones, I have an ever-growing list in my phone of all my day one’s names.
7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I don’t believe in sharing my goals for the future with the public, this is because I believe once I share them they won’t come true. I will say that I plan on going mainstream by 2023, I will do this through means of YouTube and music.
