OUR EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE KID TREVI

Rap is deeper than just a genre of music. It is the feel and emotion behind the music that keeps it going. Anybody can be a rapper nowadays, it is openly accessible to pursue especially with the internet at everyone’s hands. Yet only some really hold the ability to rap and articulate their thoughts through the art.

The Kid Trevi is more than capable of this and truly is dropping some of the best bars right now with a predominantly unmatched flow. He is effortlessly one of the more proficient lyricists and knows how to attack with his versatility at all times.

We were thrilled to meet with The Kid Trevi to discuss his musical journey

1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?

5 Frame was recorded in my home studio about 1 month ago. It was just another day and I had a beat (the beat behind 5 frames) and I freestyled over the beat. I added a couple verses and the song was done. I chose to drop the track because of the beat and the energy it gave off

2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

i would describe my music as hard-hitting and melodic. although I have only dropped 2 songs so far I have a project dropping very soon.

3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

the best moment in my music career would have to be when I started getting fan art.

4.How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends, or work?

I balance my career by spending time with family, my girlfriend and I skateboard. I try to record 3 times a week to balance with other stuff like school

5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

my advice would be to be uncomfortable when you make music. that allows you to find new ways and new styles and find your own style. every artist has up and downs and each is good

6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

I would say to my fans that they are a big part of why I make music. they inspire me every day to keep pushing. but I don’t make music for other people. I make it to express emotions

7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

what’s next? yes I have several songs coming including an EP
