1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
So my upcoming album is called “ i don’t wanna talk about it” and it’s just an 8 track album based on some personal experiences. It’s about love, loss, anxiety and depression. It deals with the aspect that I never feel like I’m good enough. The second song I’ve dropped off this project is called “Want Me Bad” and it’s just more of a flexing song based on rumors I’ve about myself.
2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
I believe what makes my music unique is that it’s super personal and intimate. There’s a lot of first person storytelling in my songs. A lot of “I” sentences, and I hope this album will bring people into my mindset and feelings.
3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
The best part of my musical career is definitely the people I’ve met along the way. I’m really proud of the friendships I’ve made, like even when I was at my lowest points, all these new people lifted me up. Being a Cofounder of one of my collectives, Dead Rose Collective, and joining DownerClique with some popular artists has helped push my creativeness beyond its limits.
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations — family, friends or work?
So with the Covid-19 pandemic going on and some personal health issues, I currently am off work for the time being.
5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
My advice to other aspiring musicians would be to just not care about what others think or say. Too many people nowadays are so caught up in other people’s opinions, that they forget whose opinion is the most important. Your own. If you’re having a good time just creating music, then do it. Don’t be afraid to do something that seems weird or not “In” at the moment. ❤
6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
To my fans, and followers, I just want to say thank you for everything you do. From streaming, to sharing my music. And that it makes my day everytime I see you do that ❤
7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
So after this project drops, I got a few other things in the works, got a two song ep with one of my best friends, Lil Ringey, dropping. Got a banger track with TRT612 dropping. and a few other songs with friends in both my collectives.
