1. Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
My new song is called “9:11” I’m excited for my label to finally release some new music of mine. I made this song 4 years ago and I made this song because growing up and till this day I continue to see the time 9:11 every day. I’ve been trying to figure out what it means and why I see it. But only God knows why but it won’t stop me from trying to figure it out myself!
2. What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
I find my sound, my alter ego, and myself to be very unique. I’ve had a lot of famous people message me telling me they like the road I am taking and how mysterious I am in the game. My fan base is strong, and they continue to push me to never give up and stay true to myself and who I am. Lil Conscious has grown so much, more than I have ever imagined.
3. Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
I have had a lot of great moments in my music career, but if I had to choose I’d say meeting Trippieredd and getting the advice he gave to me. He’s my favorite artist and always has been, also I would say meeting Machine Gun Kelly in Marfa Texas, didn’t think he would respond to me let alone take time out of his day to meet up with me and helping him and his team find somewhere to eat in Alpine Texas
4. How do you balance your music with other obligations — family, friends or work?
Balancing Lil Conscious has been the biggest struggle, I have lost friends, and family because I have been so invested in myself and my craft! I’ve since then begun to reach back out and try to rekindle the broken relationship I have caused over the years
5. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Don’t stop chasing your dreams, even if it’s not your first priority anymore. Keep pushing and pushing, sooner or later something will pop and every day you will bring yourself growth. The key is to have a constant push even if it’s a small amount every day
6. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
Take every shot! Even if you miss. You miss more in life when you just assume the outcome
7. What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I have several projects that have yet to be released by my label. I guess I’m excited for all of them. At this point in my life, I just hope you all get to hear them one day. Always stay independent and never sign yourself away. Every label is the same, be yourself
