1. Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?
Famous” is basically about your typical stereotype of a girl living life in Los Angeles. Just mainly about a girl chasing the lifestyle of being “Famous”
2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
I’d say what makes my music unique is that I try to base my lyrics off real-life experiences while trying to tell a story at the same time. When I first started making music I didn’t really care too much about that, I just wanted tracks to sound good. As time went on I really started to focus on making my music about real-life situations.
3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
Even though it was a while ago before I decided to switch up my style, I think one of my personal favorite moments from when I started music was when I found out NELK had used one of my songs in their video. I’ve always been a huge fan of NELK and to see them use my song randomly was dope. Other than that it would probably be my first time going into an actual professional recording studio. I think that’s when I truly realized that there’s nothing else I want to do except music.
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations — family, friends or work?
I try to balance out my music, family, and other things in my life evenly but it definitely gets hard considering music in itself is definitely a full-time job. A lot of people looking at music from the outside in do not really realize how much it takes to be an upcoming artist. It’s more than just making a song and releasing it. Social media in itself is like a whole other job, then you have the whole entire promotion aspect of it.
5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
That no matter how hard this whole music journey gets just keep pushing through it. You’ll always have people like friends and family telling you to always have a backup plan and to focus on other goals but as soon as you have a backup plan your already setting yourself up to fail. The idea of failing should never be an option in your head.
6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
If I could tell all my fans one thing it’s that I appreciate every single one of you that supports what I have going on. I come from a town where doing something like chasing a dream is looked at like it’s impossible and the fact that there are people across the country that really believe in what I have going on truly means the world to me.
7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I’m mainly going to try and focus on putting out singles and ONLY quality visuals. I take pride in making sure my videos stand out and have amazing quality and hold an important message. But down the road maybe in early 2022 I would like to drop a project titled “Temporary Decisions, Permanent Pain”.
