Our exclusive Interview with Chancio

1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?

Chancio: It was what seemed to be a normal day at least until I got a Snapchat from my girlfriend doing explicit things with my “friend”. After being cheated on by her twice in the past I forgave her since I was in love. After the video, I called it quits I called my other friend and we went to a kickback and I was mixing Hennessy and Rum thinking it would numb my feelings. Yet I found myself in the studio a couple of hours laters freestyling th

2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

Chancio: My music is unique due to the fact I freestyle all of my songs so everything truly comes from the heart during the spur of the moment. I would describe my music as being authentic. This is hard to find nowadays since people “cap” about so much in their music. I would also say that my music is more versatile than people think at the moment but they’ll see much more very soon.

3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

Chancio: I don’t have a moment I’m most proud of since. I know people haven’t even heard anything close to my potential and what I have to offer. Since I get better and better at every song especially since some people don’t know I made “C

4.How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?

Chancio: All my friends are 2000+ miles away from me so I don’t have people telling me to come out and do things. So it’s just giving me a lot of time to be home when I’m not at work. It’s not a balance since as soon as I come home I’m doing something that pertains to music, since if you want to do something you will lose sleep over it and you’ll love it still.

5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

Chancio: I would tell other musicians to really study music and just be themselves when they make music. Along with just making sure you like your music personally since it’s your art so that is all that matters in the long ru

6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

Chancio: I don’t look at anyone as a “fan” since then people who like my music and support me they’re like a family and give me so much motivation to get through the obstacles of everyday life.

7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

Chancio: I’m going to drop one more song this year sometime this month in December. Then after that, I will drop twice a month no matter what. Then come March I will debut a visual to a song that’s a whole new style of music that I haven’t yet released.
